My family

I grew up in a large family, with loving parents who always had the best in mind for us. I know that this is something that many people do not have in their lives, and I am so grateful to know that I was privileged to grow up surrounded by love.

I am now married to a wonderful man who is a great example to me. He works very hard and always looks after me.

My husband and I met through church and got married five months after meeting. We come from very different families, which led to a number of disagreements at the beginning of our marriage. However, we have made communication our greatest asset, and thus we have learned to compromise. We aspire to always have a home in which you can feel the Spirit of the Lord, where people feel welcome and loved. We want our children to grow up knowing that their parents love each other and centre their marriage around the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want our children to aspire to have the kind of marriage that their parents have, just as we aspired to have the kind of love our parents had.

We now have a two-year old daughter, Scarlett. We almost lost her when she was born, because she wasn't breathing and she was in NICU for four days. The doctors were amazed at how quickly she recovered, because on the night that she was born they didn't think that she would make it through the night. She was truly a miracle. Now, two years later, we are so grateful for her happy and cheerful personality. She brings so much joy to our lives.
